Market Square & Town Hall
The market square has been the centre of Helmstedt for centuries. Here stands the town hall, whose origins reach back to the Middle Ages and which has been rebuilt several times. The traditional weekly market, festivals and events take place on the square, making it the ideal starting point for a stroll through the historic centre.
