St Marienberg Convent

St Marienberg Convent was founded in the 12th century and is still home to a Protestant convent today. It is widely known for its paraments workshop, where for more than a hundred years liturgical textiles and church vestments have been crafted and restored by hand to the finest standard. The convent church, the cloister and the tranquil gardens invite visitors to linger. St Marienberg combines centuries-old monastic tradition with living craftsmanship and is a special jewel of the city.
